Was that my left, or your left?

Now Jan and I don't live together, so during the week we tend to have our laptops and talk on MSN. And watch the same TV programmes. So tonight we were watching a Grand Design revisits. And Jan writes , about the bloke building the houses "hes got different coloured eyes" . I said I hadn't noticed and would look out. A minute or so later I get a message " ROFL I was just gonna say its the left thats different to the right".

Its not her fault you know!

The pub henceforth known as the Corkscrew

A historic pub re-opened in Bradford a good few years ago, with a fairly traditional name... But to Jan it is always "The Corkscrew". Now Jan knows thats not the right name so shes got a special way of working out the real name. Now I know this includes the fact that hens eat corn, but if you want to hear the full version, just ask her!

There are doors.... and then there are doors

I always know when something has got Jan's brain spinning. We were driving down the motorway following a lorry whose doors were emblazoned with the words
"Suppliers of Kitchen and Bedroom Doors"

After a pause Jan says........... " Why don't they do doors for bathrooms and living rooms too?"

Slippery walls?

Settling down in front of the TV to watch the MotoGP from China some years back, Jan turned to me and said " Whats a wall lubricant?" Pardon??? "Whats a wall lubricant, and what makes theirs great?

The sponsor that year was then Chinese oil company Sinopec

The branding was " Sinopec Great Wall Lubricants MotoGP of China"
